Empties #1

Yes! It's time for my first ''Empties'' post! These are the products i've used up over the last couple of months (I'm very slow at finishing products). I will tell you a little bit about what i thought about the product and if I will repurchase them.

1. The Body Shop Vineyard Peach bodyscrub
I can't even begin to tell you how much i love this scrub. If I could marry a beautyproduct it's going to be this one. I was really sad to watch this run out but i'm glad that I will be buying a new one soon! This scrub smells like peaches which has become my favourite smell in the world (and i like to eat them as well but let's not tell the peaches). This scrub gets rid of all the dead skin cells on my body and leaves my skin feeling really soft. I don't know if I will ever be able to use another bodyscrub. Amen.

2. Rituals Yogi Flow Indian Rose & Sweet Almond Oil
I bought this foaming shower gel after seeing it in Lily's july favourites which you can watch here. I must say i loved this shower gel but after a while I started to notice that the smell didn't linger on my skin any longer. And because I loved the smell so much and I liked the fact that my skin still smelt like this after a while i started to look at it like any other shower gel. It wasn't really important to me anymore and it wasn't really special. At first i thought this shower gel was better than the rest of them but it's not anymore. I don't know if i'm going to repurchase this.. maybe if it's on sale or something because to be honest I think that it's not worth paying 8 euros for.

3. Nivea eye make-up remover and tonic
There is not much I can say about these two products. They just do the job. I've been using these two ever since i started wearing make-up and I liked them ever since. I will definitely repurchase these (in fact I already did).

4. Garnier skin naturals essentials soft make-up remover
This is a make-up remover that I tried because the one I was talking about at number 3 was sold out and I needed a make-up remover. This works well, it doesn't sting your eyes and it gets rid of all the make-up. Because i love my Nivea make-up remover so much I probably won't repurchase this.

5. Essence Pure Skin 4 in 1 creamwash
This product I've also bought because the one I wanted was sold out and I don't like it. It doesn't do anything. It has tiny exfoliating beads that make it look like you're scrubbing your skin but I didn't notice any difference. I will not be buying this again.

6. Anatomicals Frequent use hair conditioner
First of all; I really like their products because the texts on them are hilarious. This hair conditioner says on the back;
Most crazy dictators who want to rule the world usually fail, not because they ignore their generals, try to invade Russia in the middle of winter, or simply go bonkers, but because their hair could be far better conditioned. Today, everyone is obsessed with how people look. A hair out of place and that's 6,000 working class votes out the window. So to meglomaniacs everywhere, we suggest you use this conditioner after our shampoo. By the way, when you inherit the earth, can we have Japan?
Who wouldn't buy this just because of the texts? I can't say much about the product; it did his job, had a bit of a funky smell to it, and I liked it. I will repurchase this.

7. Maybelline Dream Matte Mouse and the Maybelline Dream foundation
These two products weren't empty. I decided to throw these away for 2 reasons. The first reason is because I've had these for such a long time. The foundation was in my ''stash'' for about two years now and I didn't feel very comfortable with putting it on my face so I threw this away and I decided to throw the mouse away because I just didn't like it. It made my skin feel really tacky and clogged and it just wouldn't blend into my skin.

8. Dove Hair Therapy nourishing oil care shampoo
I love love love this shampoo. This entire range actually. This shampoo makes my hair really soft and easy to brush through, it smells amazing and my hair stays soft for a really long time.

9. Perfume (i forgot the name of it and i already threw this away.. sorry!)
This perfume is simple. It smelled great when I put it on but after about 20 minutes the smell was gone. Horrible product.

10. Maybelline The Falsies mascara
I love this mascara and I've already bought a new one. This makes my lashes big, black and voluminous. Can't describe in words how perfect this mascara is.

11. Catrice concealer
I didn't really like this concealer because I noticed that it didn't do anything. It didn't cover up my dark circles under my eyes and it did not conceal any blemishes. Right now I'm trying the Maybelline Fit Me concealer so I will not repurchase this.

12.Hema eye pencil
I will definitely not buy this again. It's hard to apply, hard to sharpen and I just don't like the pigmentation.

13. Diffuser oil ''forest''
This is not really a beauty product but it did made my room smell amazing. I got this oil in a set that also came with the thing to put the oil and the sticks in and it came with three other scents. I got this set as a gift and I must say; i like it. I wouldn't buy this myself but it's a great gift to give and get.

14. 2 Nivea cleansing wipes for sensitive skin and 1 Kruidvat cleansing wipes for normal skin.
These are two products, well actually three, that I only use on the go. I don't think these wipes take away all the dirt that you have on your face so I only use this, for example, at school because it's easier to put in your handbag than a cleanser, tonic, milk and cotton pads. They do the job but I would not recommend this for everyday use.

15. Anatomicals Farewell The Scarlet Pimplehell Deep Cleansing Mud Mask.
I got this mask in a Glossybox and loved before opening it. You can get two uses out of this thingy and I liked it. Because the mask dries up it feels like it really works.. that's just my opinion. I will repurchase this.

I hope you liked this blogpost about the product's I've used up!

January Glossybox

Yesterday I received the January Glossybox so that means it's time for another blogpost! The first thing I noticed when I opened the package is that this months box is pink, really pink. Not the usual baby pink but really pink. Then I saw it came with another Glossymag which I love, this is the second month they included the Glossymag and I love reading it. It contains lots of tips and tricks to apply make up or hair tutorials and it has the editors favourite products in it! Also they included a fortune cookie which I forgot to take a picture of. The message that was in the cookie basically said i should experience more with make-up. Thanks Glossybox. Than the products that were in this months box!

1. Christina Aguilera - red sin perfume sample and moisturizing body lotion
I smelled this product straight after opening the box and sat there for probably 5 minutes just smelling these. They smell AMAZING. The only bad thing about the perfume sample is that it doesn't have a spray thing so when you want to apply this you'd have to use the entire bottle and I just can't seem to do that without pouring the product all over myself. I'm such a loser sometimes. The full size perfume costs €27,- and the full size body lotions costs €9,95.

2. Dr. van der hoog - charming chocolate face mask
This is a luxurious product. At least, that's what it's supposed to be. It's a chocolate face mask. Can't say a lot about a chocolate face mask can I? I'm not sure if i'm going to like this because I seem to feel sick everytime I put something on my face that smells like food so i'm not too sure about this product.. This is a full size product and it costs €2,23.

3. Ginvera - Green tea nude cover bb cream
Yay, another bb cream. This is a bb cream that matches my skin really well but I don't really like it. It makes my skin feel like it's clogged and can't breathe or something like that. I also noticed that I had to squeeze hard to get the product out so if you'd like this products then you would only get one chance to put it on your face before it's empty. The full size product costs €32,50.

4. Ahava - essential day moisturizer
I'm excited to try this moisturizer out! I love the packaging, it's white, simple and clean. I also heard great things about this product so I think i'm going to like this. It's also great for sensitive skin! The full size products costs €33,95.

5. Toni & Guy - shampoo for damaged hair
I don't have damaged hair so I don't know how this is going to work out but I was pretty excited to see a Toni & Guy product in the box! I've read great things about this brand from Zoe so i'm thrilled to try this shampoo! The full size product costs €9,99.

6. Modelco - lip duo lipstick & ultra shine lipgloss
This contains a long lasting lipstick and a high shine lipgloss. I already don't like this product. The lipstick has a brown/dark colour which doesn't compliment my skin tone at all! And the lipgloss smells really strong like strawberries and as I said I feel sick when I put something on my face that smells like food so I don't like this. This is a full size product and it costs €30,-.

This was my opinion in this months Glossybox. Keep in mind that this is my experience and you might like the products that I hate so don't take it personal.

Products i'm loving at the moment #1

I've decided to do an 'products i'm loving at the moment' every now and then but not every month so that's why I put the #1 behind it. Enjoy!

Rituals yogi flow indian rose & sweet almond oil
I bought this foaming shower gel after seeing it in youtube videos from multiple of my favourite youtubers and they said that it smelt really nice and leaves your skin really moisturized. So I decided to try it for myself and I have never loved a shower gel as much as this one. It leaves my skin feeling super soft and it smells am-az-ing! my skin still smells great after a while and I just love how it foams up when I use it on my shower puff!

The body shop coconut lip butterThis lip butter is just fantastic. I have a weak spot for coconut and when I found out the body shop had a coconut lip butter I just had to get it! I absolutely love this! I apply this at night just before I go to bed and in the morning as I wake up and it leaves my lips super soft and moisturized! The only ''bad'' thing about this lip butter is that it makes your lips look really white because the consistancy is white but when you use a little bit you can't see it.

Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream
Before I bought this I wasn't really into the BB creams. I've read a lot of bad things about the BB creams from multiple brands and I just knew that I would not like them. But then I saw a review of the Maybelline dream fresh BB cream on Misslipgloss and I was actually interested. On the back it says that it creates a natural glow, compliments your skin tone, has SPF 30 UV protection, hydrates your skin all day long, blurs imperfections, is oil free and non greasy, looks visibly smooth and feels fresh. I must say that it does all the above. I would still not choose this instead of a foundation because it does blur out your imperfections but doesn't really take them away which my foundation does but I do love this! Sometimes when I put foundation on after I moisturise my skin feels really dry and I get little dry spot around my nose and between my eye brows but with this that is all over. This feels hydrating, fresh and it really does compliments my skin tone. When you first put this on your skin it looks really dark but once you blend it in it really 'matches' your own skintone and that's what makes it double amazing!

Anatomicals Oi! you throbhead headache relief balm
I suffer from really bad headaches every now and then and especially in the summer or when i get stressed about something. I went to the doctor so much and all they gave me was pain killers and that doesn't work anymore. Than a friend of mine introduced this to me. This is a oily minty balm which you rub into your temples and leave it there. It makes your temples feel really fresh and minty and I promise you, your headache will be gone! I tried this so many times right now in combination with some medicines but I just know this does the job. The only 'bad thing' about this product is the tin that it's in... This is really hard to open sometimes and especially when you have oily hands or thick fingers because it's really small. It's a complete disaster but i do love the product!

This were my favourites at the moment, I know it's not that much but all my other products I just haven't been using enough to really say if it works. I promise to do these more often and I hope you enjoyed!

Hugs and kisses!

Non beauty wishlist #1

Something I always do is making wishlists. It's not always the greatest thing to do because going to school is sometimes really expensive and that means that I can't buy everything I want and when you make a wishlist you want those things asap. This time I made a wishlist about non beauty things and these are the things I really really want! I am obsessed with jewelry lately and that's why the necklace is on it. I think studs make everything look 'army' and 'tough'. I'm not really a girly girl like in; everything is pink and cute and that's also why the studded boots are on there. They give every outfit a tough look. Because there is also a tiny part of me that is a little bit girly girly I also put the Zara bag and the Marc Jacobs laptop sleeve on the wishlist. I really like the look of the laptop sleeve and I just fell in love with the Zara bag after i watched Corrie's (Dizzybrunette3) What's In My Bag video on youtube.

Favourite Youtubers!

My favourite thing to do is watch youtube videos. I love to watch how other people do their make-up or how they organize their rooms or talk about the perfect skincare combination. Because I love watching these videos so much I thought it would be a great idea to share 10 of my favourite youtubers in no particular order!

Zoella (Zoe)

I absolutely love Zoe! She's always smiling, I love her fashion style and I love watching her videos because I think we're pretty similair. I've bought a lot of products she recommends in some of her videos and I loved them all.

Tanya Burr

I love Tanya's videos because she always brings a smile to my face. She's always happy and cheerfull and that makes me love watching her even more! She makes a lot of make-up tutorials which are amazing!

Ghostparties (Kate)

Kate's videos are really helpfull! She shows how she puts her make-up on and talks about products in a way that's really informative!

HelloOctoberxo (Suzie)

Suzie is just cute. She recently made a skincare video and I can't help but just look at them in silence. Her voice is really calming and the way she talks about the products is, just like Kate, really informative and helpfull if you're a starter with make-up or skincare products.

Icovetthee (Alix)

Alix's videos are really ''bright'' and ''girlish'' I love the background she uses (this sounds weird) and I love the way she dresses. I like watching videos where she does her make-up because I think these are very helpfull since i'm not an expert at applying make-up.

Llmlrs (Lily)

Lily's videos are so nice to watch. She talks in a really calm way and she's always really honest about products. When she doesn't like a products she says why she doesn't like it and I appreciate that. I'm a person that would buy the product if someone says it's amazing and therefore I appreciate her honesty. I also really like her style.

Missglamorazzi (Ingrid)

Although we don't know eachother in real life (I never even spoken to Ingrid) but I have a weak spot for her. Ingrid is the youtuber that I've been watching ever since I discovered beauty videos. She's actually the first person I subscribed to and I watched every single video of her with a smile on my face. She's so happy, cheerfull and positive that I can't help smiling and feeling happy while i'm watching her videos. She does a lot of hauls and favourites of the month videos which I love because she uses a lot of products that I can buy here in Holland so that's really useful because the majority of the time these girls use products I can't buy in this country.

Thepersianbabe (Barbara)

I love watching Barbara's hauls and the videos where she talks about her new favourite products. I also (and this is gonna sound weird) loved the video where she showed her room to her viewers. That is exactly how I want my room to look like. Really calming and neat.

Viviannadoesmakeup (Anna)

I really adore Anna.
Her videos make me want to buy every single products she shows.
Recently she did a manicure video and I tried it straight after watching the video.
I learned so much from watching her videos that it makes me love her videos even more!

Thatsheart (Heart)

Heart's videos are so ''pinky'' and ''girlish'' I fell in love with her night time routine video and after that I couldn't stop watching her other videos. She talks in a really positive way and she can get you really sucked into buying a product when she loves it which is a good thing but also a bad thing because i'm a loser and I buy everything she says works wonders!

I hope you've enjoyed reading this blogpost!
